Updating bluetooth firmware garmin

Thanks again, Siggy Your tip on holding the power button and waiting for the pre-boot sequence saved the day on my nuvi 350 when a software update to V6.0 failed and gave me the ill-fated "system software missing" error.Spent the to update the maps, now all I get is a frozen screen that sez "updating bluetooth firmware 0%".This information may appeal to business travelers for monitoring expenses. Some units will indicate on the map if roads had been traveled previously.

Function varies, though better units track trip progress by recording data on distance traveled, average speed, and time spent that can be recalled later. When the unit came back up again the following error came up on the screen: "system software missing" The Nuvi would not boot! HOLD down the power button and you will see "Pre Boot Mode" appear on the lower part of the display.I contacted the local Garmin support rep and I was given the following sequence to recover from this condition: 1. KEEP HOLDING the power button down and the display will flicker, do this until the pre boot mode message disappears. Please enable Cookies on your browser and try again.

Notable features include a trip computer, and lane assistance. Can display user's telephone book, and shows caller ID on the screen.

If I turn the unit off then on again, I can briefly hit a few of the "Agree" buttons before it freezes again.
